Twitch Tournament Automation: Chat, Titles, Markers, and Predictions

Mark a match as on stream and Brackify does the rest: the matchup in chat, the players in your title, a stream marker for the VOD, and a Twitch Prediction that resolves itself when the result is recorded.

Create a free bracket

How it works

Build the bracket in Brackify from the account that will run the event. Integrations use the bracket owner’s connection, so co-admins cannot swap in their own channel. Open the bracket’s Admin Panel, choose Bot Integrations, and select Connect Twitch. Authorize the channel that will host the event. Twitch and Discord connect independently, so you can use either or both. In your Twitch chat, run /mod brackibot, then press Send test message. A successful test confirms chat delivery. For Predictions, reconnect Twitch and grant the channel:manage:predictions permission when asked. Turn on chat announcements, finals callouts, stream title updates, stream markers, and Predictions, and set the prediction window. These toggles stay editable while the bracket runs. During the tournament, mark the featured match as on stream. Brackify handles chat, title, markers, and the prediction. Record the result and everything resets for the next set.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Twitch bot that runs tournament brackets automatically?

Yes. Brackify’s BrackiBot connects your bracket to your Twitch channel. When you mark a match as on stream it posts the matchup in chat, appends the players to your stream title, creates stream markers, and can open a Twitch Prediction that resolves itself from the recorded result. It follows bracket events, so you run everything from the bracket.

How do Twitch Predictions work with Brackify?

Enable Predictions in Bot Integrations and choose a window between 30 seconds and 10 minutes. When a match goes on stream, Brackify opens a two-outcome prediction with both competitors. When the result is recorded, it resolves the prediction for the winner, or cancels it if it cannot match the winner to an outcome. Twitch requires the channel:manage:predictions permission, which you grant when connecting.

Does Brackify change my stream title?

Only if you turn it on. When enabled, it appends both competitors to your current title while a match is on stream, then restores your saved base title when the match leaves stream or completes.

Why is BrackiBot not posting in my chat?

BrackiBot must be a moderator in your channel. Run /mod brackibot in your Twitch chat, make sure you authorized the right channel, then press Send test message in Bot Integrations. If Predictions are missing, check that Predictions is enabled, the match is assigned and marked on stream, and that your authorization includes channel:manage:predictions.

Does Brackify detect when my stream goes live?

No. Automations follow the bracket: a match being assigned, marked on stream or off stream, or its result being recorded. That keeps chat in sync with what is actually on screen rather than guessing from the stream state.

Which plan includes the Twitch integration?

Twitch and Discord bot integrations are part of Brackify Pro. Brackets, registration, check-in, and live bracket pages stay free. See the pricing page for current plans.

Can I show the bracket on stream too?

Yes. Pro organizers can copy an OBS Browser Source link for any bracket. The overlay updates itself as results come in and mirrors the view you choose, so the bracket on stream and the posts in chat always agree.
