Top 6 is the size that fits the bracket nobody designs for. Twenty to forty entrants, a top cut that is bigger than four but does not fill eight, and two players genuinely tied at fifth. This preset publishes all six without inventing a placement that the bracket never decided. A Top 6 graphic is a tournament results image showing six placements, where the final two share fifth place. That shared fifth is not a rounding decision, it is how double elimination actually works: both players lose in the same losers bracket round, so neither finished above the other. On Brackify the Top 6 preset renders the champion as a hero card, then two cards above a row of three, and prints 5th on both of the last two cards rather than forcing a fifth and a sixth.
Pick Top 6 in the bracket size selector above the preview. The layout becomes a hero card, a pair of cards, and a row of three below them.
Import the bracket
Paste a start.gg or Challonge link. Brackify pulls the tournament name, the finish order and the entrant tags, including both players sitting at fifth.
Check the tied fifth
Confirm the two fifth place cards hold the right players. Both print the number 5, so the order you put them in does not imply a ranking.
Add art, flags and branding
Pick characters or upload art, set flags and social handles, then drop in your event logo and accent colour.
Export and post
Export a 1920 by 1080 JPG. On mobile the share sheet opens straight into Twitter, Instagram or Discord.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the Top 6 graphic show two players at 5th instead of a 5th and a 6th?
Because that is what the bracket decided. In double elimination the last two players eliminated before top four both lose in losers quarterfinals, the same round, so neither placed above the other. Printing a 5th and a 6th would invent a result the bracket never produced. Both cards print 5 and are rendered at identical size.
Is the Top 6 graphic generator free?
Yes. Building and exporting is free and requires no account. Saving a draft to reuse at your next event requires a Brackify account with an active subscription.
When should I use Top 6 instead of Top 8?
When your bracket ran between roughly twenty and forty entrants. At that size a Top 8 reaches down into players who won one set, which makes the results post less meaningful. Six covers everyone who made it past losers quarterfinals.
When should I use Top 6 instead of Top 4?
When the losers quarterfinal round mattered. A Top 4 stops before that round and leaves out two players who made a genuine run. If the pot paid out to fifth, the graphic should show fifth.
Does the layout leave gaps with six cards?
No. The top pair and the bottom row of three each fill the full width of their track, so the composition has no empty cells on either edge. Both rows sit level with the champion card at the bottom.
Can I import six placements from start.gg or Challonge?
Yes. Paste the event link and the import pulls the full finish order. Brackify keeps every slot the bracket reported, so switching up to Top 8 afterwards shows the remaining players already filled in.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. It runs in the mobile browser and in the native Brackify iOS and Android apps, where the export writes the file and opens the system share sheet.
