How it works
Open the bracket you are running in Brackify and go to the Bracket tab. Select Copy OBS Link in the bracket toolbar. Use Open Scene to preview exactly what the overlay will show in a new browser tab. In OBS, add a Browser source to your scene and paste the link into the URL field. A width of 1920 and height of 1080 fits a full screen bracket; use a smaller source to place the bracket in a corner of your layout. Back in Brackify, zoom, pan, or switch between Full, Top 8, Winners, and Losers. The OBS scene mirrors your view, so frame it once and it stays that way. Record results as sets finish. The overlay updates by itself within seconds, with no refresh needed in OBS.
Frequently asked questions
How do I show a live tournament bracket in OBS?
Open your bracket in Brackify, select Copy OBS Link in the bracket toolbar, then add a Browser source in OBS and paste the link as its URL. The overlay shows your live bracket and updates itself every few seconds as results are recorded. It works for single elimination, double elimination, round robin, and Team Battle brackets.
Does the OBS bracket overlay update automatically?
Yes. While the scene is open it checks the bracket every 5 seconds, so new results appear on stream without refreshing the Browser Source. Refreshing pauses while the scene is hidden and resumes with an immediate update when it is shown again.
Can I control what part of the bracket is on stream?
Yes. The overlay mirrors the organizer’s view. Zoom, pan, or switch between Full bracket, Top 8, Winners, and Losers in Brackify and the OBS scene follows within about a second.
What size should the OBS Browser Source be?
A 1920 by 1080 Browser Source fills a standard 1080p canvas. For a corner or sidebar bracket, use a smaller source and frame it with zoom and pan in Brackify so the important sets stay readable.
Does it use my bracket colors and theme?
Yes. The overlay always renders with the bracket’s saved theme, regardless of who is viewing it, so what is on stream matches your event branding.
Which plan includes OBS scene links?
OBS scene links are part of Brackify Pro, together with Twitch and Discord automation and custom bracket themes. Creating and running brackets stays free. See the pricing page for current plans.
Can I automate Twitch chat at the same time?
Yes. With the Twitch integration, marking a match as on stream posts the matchup in chat, updates your stream title, drops stream markers, and can open a Twitch Prediction that resolves from the recorded result, all while the overlay shows the bracket.
