Top 8 Studio guide

Build and export a tournament results graphic

Top 8 Studio is Brackify’s standalone results-graphic editor. Import available placements or enter them yourself, style the player cards and event branding, preview the image, and export a 1920 × 1080 JPG.

Open Top 8 Studio. Start with the default canvas, toggle on Preview templates to view a sample, or paste a completed tournament link to import available results.

Choose a game. This labels the graphic and loads a character image catalog when one is available for that title. An import can choose the game for you.

Select how many placements to show, then review each visible participant card and add any missing player or event information.

Adjust the colors, typography, logo, and background. Use the live preview to review the complete composition.

Choose Export HD JPG to download or share the finished image. Use Save Draft if you also want the editable setup stored in your Brackify account.

The Tournament Link importer accepts one start.gg event link or one Challonge tournament link. For start.gg, use an event URL containing /tournament/…/event/… , not the tournament’s event-list page. For the most reliable result order, choose an event with final standings available.

Copy the event or tournament URL from start.gg or Challonge.

Paste it into Tournament Link and select Load Top 8 .

Check the imported game, title, player names, and placement order before exporting. Correct any missing or outdated details in the editor.

Loading a new event updates the title, game, standings, participant count, and available event artwork. Character picks remain blank until you add them in the studio.

The Bracket Size control offers Top 3, Top 4, Top 5, Top 6, and Top 8 . Choose the size that matches what you want to publish; it changes the graphic layout and the placement slots shown in the editor.

The preview gives the champion a larger lead card and arranges the remaining placements beside it. The card layout changes to fit the selected Top N size.

Each visible placement has its own editor in the Participants panel.

Character and support catalogs depend on the selected game and the artwork Brackify has available. If a catalog is empty or unavailable, upload your own image instead.

The live canvas is composed for a 1920 × 1080 landscape export and scales down in the editor to fit your screen. The finished graphic includes the Brackify “Designed & Powered by Brackify.gg” watermark.

Cloud save is optional and separate from creating or exporting a graphic. To use Save Draft , create or sign in to a claimed Brackify account with an active Plus or Pro subscription. The public editor remains usable for building and exporting without cloud save.

Save Draft stores the selected game and editable configuration, including participant details and uploaded artwork. When you open the public studio again on that account, Brackify loads the saved draft. Save again after changes you want to keep; editing the canvas does not automatically save it.

If the Save Draft button sends you to account setup, finish creating or claiming your account. If the studio presents an upgrade prompt, cloud save requires an eligible paid plan.

The public /top-8 studio is a standalone editor: enter or import data yourself. For a completed Brackify single- or double-elimination bracket, an organizer can open the bracket-specific Top 8 Graphic Studio from the bracket controls. That flow starts from the bracket’s placements and saves its graphic metadata to that bracket.

The bracket-specific studio is available to authorized bracket administrators and is not the same as the public provider-link importer. For more about running and completing the bracket, see Bracket documentation .
